Hi, we’re Jeff and Ashley, and we're SUPERHOSTS! NC Saltwater Vacations is our vacation rental business that we manage together as a husband and wife team. Each vacation rental has been hand-picked and renovated by the two of us! Yes, we do all of our own work, including cleaning each rental space in between guests and making our signature stingray towel animals!
We are local to Morehead City and love everything involving real estate, construction, boating, fishing, and the beach. The North Carolina Crystal Coast offers so much to see and do – from the Cape Lookout Lighthouse to the Shackleford Banks’ wild horses, historic waterfront communities, offshore fishing, the North Carolina Aquarium, Fort Macon, Caribbean-like turquoise-blue waters, and pristine, expansive beaches. We enjoy helping visitors get to know and love the area as much as we do and helping guests feel at home during their vacation. Our goal is to create a space where guests can have a special, memorable beach vacation so that they are excited to come back again and again!
Hi, I'm Jeff
My background is in residential and commercial construction. I grew up in Raleigh building high-end custom award-winning homes and have headed up commercial operations including major hotel renovations and historical building restorations. I have also built and renovated law offices, restaurants, retail spaces, and vacation homes. Most recently, I’ve chosen to work on my own projects where my wife Ashley and I locate and renovate real estate finds and manage our own vacation rental business.
Hi, I'm Ashley
Growing up near the beaches of Charleston, SC shaped my love for everything water-related from fishing to boating to having fun on the beach. I have a background in digital marketing and real estate sales, specifically at the NC Crystal Coast! I also speak Spanish and have lived and traveled extensively throughout Central and South America. All of my experiences together fuel my passion to create incredible and unforgettable beach vacations. I truly enjoy managing our vacation rentals and love working to create magical memories for our guests.
Our Day
On a typical day you can find us getting into some kind of construction project, searching for unique real estate opportunities, taking our boat out to places like Shackleford Banks to see the wild horses or the Cape Lookout Lighthouse, surf fishing or fishing from our own boat, relaxing in the sun on the beaches of Atlantic Beach, listening to live music at a waterfront restaurant in downtown Morehead City, doing yoga, joining in a drum circle on the beach, and enjoying all the local events and fun like the Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament, Beach Music Festival, Crystal Coast Grand Prix Boat Race, 4th of July festivities, and Christmas Flotilla.
Come stay at one of our properties and get to know and love this unique coastal area like a local! And who knows? You might bump into us when you are on your boat tour, dining on the waterfront, or relaxing on the beach because even when you live at the Crystal Coast like we do, an area this unique and special always feels like a vacation, and the fun ‘tourist’ attractions are really things the locals also do and enjoy regularly.
